Camp Ker-Anna was founded in 1937 by the Rev. Ronaldo Gadoury in Cumberland, RI; for the Scouts of St. Matthew Catholic Church of Central Falls, RI. Over the years, the programs of Ker-Anna have been expanded to any and all children. Always maintaining its mission of helping boys and girls to develop physically, mentally/emotionally, and spiritually.

From the very beginning to the present, Ker-Anna has been maintained and mostly staffed by volunteers of all ages. This has created a lasting atmosphere of self-giving…a family!

Campers regularly refer to Ker-Anna as their Summer family, their best experience, a place where they are accepted and nurtured. Parents express that they are very grateful for Ker-Anna and they are very comfortable with their children being here…which explains why Ker-Anna operates at capacity, with long waiting lists!
